Pancake??!!

Adj told me yesturday that today's "pancake day" and that he wanted pancakes making!!

Today he brought some supplies bless him!! Went to make them and saw that the silly noonoo had BURNT MY FRYING PAN!!! I dont mean just a small section... the thing had chacoal in it!! BAH!!!!! When I first got the thing I told him not to use it because the whole reason I had to buy a new one was because he trashed the old one, he had a right tantrum and told me nothing of the sort had happened nor would happen... hmmmmmmmmm

He tried to clean it but of course he's burnt some of the "non stick" stuff so when I went to cook the pancakes, it was a BIG MESSSSSSSS!!!!

I was sooo vex.... nearly told him that i wouldn't be making any pancakes but had a break, fed kylo and put him down for a nap, then went back in the kitchen to have a think.....

Remembered my Pancake Pan!! The kind that has a little pan and a flat pan hinged together so that you just turn it over to cook the other side!! result!!

Adj had lemon and sugar, Kali maple syrup, jayz had toffee sauce and I had toffee sauce an a bit of naughty squirty cream!! slurp!!

(not bad huh?!)

Right diet starts back next week!!

He's 9!!!

WHHHHAAAAAA!!! I can't believe my little boy is 9!! So he's not really little anymore but he's still MY little boy.

He is such a lovely boy, alright he has his moments but he really is fab.

I have gotten to see that I really don't know him all that well. He is a person in his own right and I really want to get to know him better.

He is such a sensitive soul and I guess he gets misunderstood alot.

I am soooo proud of him and will try and show him more. He has been through so much with me and also helps alot with the little ones, I MUST take some time for it to be just him and me more often.

I let him choose his pressies and he chose a car set (surprise surprise!! LOL) and a walkie talkie set.

His Nan (daddy's mum) came round on sat. and gave him his pressie.. an ipod shuffle!! a cute mini one. I'll help him put some music on it soon.

We went to outback for his birthday dinner and the kiddies were so well behaved. He had his fave meal - junior red pasta!! I ordered Chicken tenders and a jacke potato and gave him some chicken to put with his pasta, he told me i "Just had to taste the red sauce with the chicken" I did and it was delish, heeee.

Will post a piccie soon.

******

ok here's the piccies as promised :)

Here's the Birthday Boy!!

Our server and her collegues sang to him and gave him a "birthday dog"

Nothing more funnier than folk!!

So tuesday at work.... I was thinking that people are sooooo funny, well customers in particular. You can get some really lovely ones, even "regulars" who remember you and greet you so nicely and then you get some right horrors!! Those that seem to come in just to wind you up!!

And all on the same shift!!!

On Tuesday for example, A customer came to my till and asked me if I knew where the foil was, I got off my till and went to the section, there wasn't any so I told her i'd call downstairs to see. I went to the phone, watching incase someone came to my till to pay for their stuff. There was no foil so I went to inform the customer - did she thank me for checking? did she thank me for leaving my till at all??? NO!!! she said "This is the last time I come in here, thats the only thing i came in here for"!!
A few mins later she comes over to my til with a trolley load of goods - bah!!!

Later on I served a lady and when I gave her change she said "And thank you for your lovely smile" really made my shift!!

Crasshhhhh!!

Hmmmmm!!!

After that post about restarting the year, Dh and the kiddies were involved in a small car accident on Monday.
Hubby and Kali were hurt, Adrie has injury to his arms and knees and Kali has a bump on his head.
I was at work at the time and Adrie called me... He sounded so shaken and like he was in tears, I just had to rush home. My Cuzz came for me and I just hugged Adrie when I saw him. He looked so Sad and distraught.

We went to the Hospital and waited for 3hrs. They were both told to take pain relief and we needed to keep an eye on Kali for any seriousness as he had a head injury. The little blighter wanted to go to school and is in such a mood about it.

Adrie is so down, I talked to him about it and he says that he wishes he was on his own as the kids were so frightened. He says Kali was in shock and was screaming and saying " tell me its a dream daddy, tell me it didnt happen" poor love.

I am so gratefull that they are ok and I have them safe.

The car is badly damaged, the bumper is smashed, the air bags on the drivers side made a big mess of the dashboard.
The garage are taking it in tomorrow so hopefully they'll give us a courteousy car.

One Little Word

A lovely scrapper directed me to Ali Edwards "One Little Word" thingy that she'd read in her
e-zine:

"one little word
A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.
Last fall in
issue two of this newsletter I wrote about the power of words and gave my top ten tips for getting those words down when you are scrapbooking. Today I want to introduce you to the idea that a single word can be a catalyst for enriching your life as well as your scrapbook layouts.
Last year I began a tradition of chosing one word for myself each January - a word that I can focus on, mediate on, and reflect upon as I go about my daily life. Last year my word was something I wanted to bring into my life in a more tangible way. My word was play.
I thought a lot about play and what it means to me. I tried to incorporate it more into my everyday and on my adventures out in the crazy world. For me, it was a lot about living without fear - about being more open to experiences with an attitude of playfulness. The word play found its way onto many scrapbook pages and into many stories I told throughout the year.
Can you identify a single word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2007?
It can be something tangible or intangible. It could be a thought or a feeling or an emotion. It can be singular or plural. The key is to find something that has personal meaning for you. This is not your mother's word or your spouse's word or your child's word - this is YOUR word.
One little word can have big meaning in your life if you allow yourself to be open to the possibilities. And here's one thing that is totally interesting: sometimes a word will pop into your brain and it will not make any sense to you right now. Give it some time. Let it percolate a bit. I have often found that our hearts speak to us in very unique ways. Maybe this is a word you need to hear but just aren't ready for it yet. Again, be open to the possibilities. You may be wondering, what in the heck does this all have to do with scrapbooking? For me, words are at the heart of what I do. The photos are a huge part, but the words bring it all home. Often times I will begin a layout with a single word. That word becomes my guide as I create my page. It helps me focus the story I am trying to tell and gives me an instant, easy graphic title approach. How often has a word directed your creativity when working on layouts?"

I am tottaly up for this!!!

After thinking a while, the word I came up with is PRETTY.
I have the most damaging self image of myself and very low self esteem. I am absolutely tired of hating myself and being my worse enemy.
I'm determined that this year, I'll shake all the negativity and bad thoughts and with the Help of God I know I can do it.

I WILL use the word pretty to describe myself.

I love pretty things - charms, glitter, little trinklets, bracelets, sweet embelies...... PRIMA's LOLOLO .... Pens, pretty notebooks, bags.....and love to look at them, I want to love to look at myself also.

SOoooooo my word for the year is PRETTY.

All go at Work!!

Soooooo...... at work on wednesday was maaad busy and as usual we were short staffed. I was the only person on the shop floor as everyone was on tills. I jumped on a back till to let the poor warehouse guy go, he had jumped on the till so a collegue could go to break. The line/duty mahager was on a till too bless him.
Mark(the manager) asked someone to take me off and asked me to look after the store for him while he nipped down for asandwhich, poor love hadn't eaten all day..... told him off and ordered him to eat something more filling than a sarnie!

I went to front of store after i had helped a few customers and directed some customers in line to pay in the bakery as the queues in the main store were waaay long, I followed them just to make sure and saw that there was no one in there to serve them, I told them i'd serve them since I sent them there in the first place and went behind the till.
As I was ringing up their purchasers, another couple came "nevermind" I thought to myself and continued serving.

Another person came but I told them I was closing. I really needed to get of the till so I could watch the store and start a team up to take date expired goods off shelves.
I saw an elderly woman, I recognised her as a regular, standing with her trolley eating something from the bakery. Another lady came in to pay and I told her I was closing, She had a heavy basket and I felt bad for her so told her to come over and I ringed up her purchases.
The elderly lady pushed her trolley over and I told her I was closing. I asked if there was still queues in the main bit of the store, she said yes so I said I'd serve her.... Thank God I did cos she didnt look well at all. She told me she felt hyperglycemic.....or however you spell it LOL, and had to eat a donut, she gave me the empty bag. I told her no probs., I looked closer and the poor love was shaking. I asked her if she felt ok and she said "No"

"you dont look well at all" I told her and asked her if she wanted to sit down. I told my collegue who had come in to ask me to sign onto some hand held terminals, to get a chair for the lady.
I asked her if she would like a cup of tea, and told him to get someone to make her one in the catering unit.
The lady, I'll call her Ms Nice from nnow on, was really shaky and said she was gonna eat some of the dried apricots she purchased, I came round from the till and gave them to her, she told me she was slightly diabetc and hadn't eaten. I told her she really musnt do that and that it was important to eat regularily when you're diabetic or her blood sugar would be affected.

I took the tea from collegue and put milk in it for her, stired it and removed the tea bag.
I asked her if she had anything in her bag that she could eat. I found some biscuits and she said she'd eat one so I oppened it for her.
She started to feel better and I asked if there was anyone I could call for her.
She said she was gonna drive home and that she was gonna go and have a meal at "Toffs" - a fab well known fish shop.
The little poppet didnt want to bother anyone and kept appologising for keeping me from my work.
I told her not to be silly and kept talking to her to see if she was ok.

I worked aroun the bakery area so I could keep an eye on her and still get some stuff done.
She looked much better and said she felt better. I told her I was still going to call a first aider as I wanted to make sure she was ok. I arranged for someone to take aisie of the back till so she could come to the bakery.
When Aise came I told her what happend, Ms Nice started to get really upset and said she was so angry with herself, we told her not to worry and to relax. She really didnt want to be a bother. She didnt want her details entered into the accident book because she didnt want any fuss, I told her she deserved to be fussed over, and that I was sure she had fussed over others and it was her turn she laffed and was much more cheery.

In the end, Ms Nice said she was ok to go and that she was off to toffs, I told her that once she had sat down and eaten hopefully she'd feel much better. she was gonna walk over but her bags were heavy and it was raining I told her to let One of the warehouse guys to walk over with her. At first she said "No" as she wanted no fuss but she went to pick up the bags and felt how heavy they were. "What are you like!!" I asked her and she laffed and said "terrible" LOLOLOL.
I asked her how often she got an offer of a lovely young man to escort her to her car and carry her bags... she laffed again and accepted the offer.

I'm sooooooo pleased that I served those customers now as I would hate to think what might have happened,

I'm gonna follow it up and make sure someone called her to see if she was ok.

lololol, look at my cute piggy!!

adopt your own virtual pet!

I want Eggnog!!!

Ok so my newest obsession is Eggnog!! I decided to try an eggnog latte at starbucks for a change to my usual gingerbread latte!!
Gingerbread lattes are the most yummmist yummy! So much so that I had to buy a bottle of gingerbread syrup to take home.
Now I am in no way shunning the lovely gingery latte... but.... I am in love with it's yellowey creamy bud eggnog latte!! I love the sweet (almost sickly) taste, all rich and creamy and nutmeggy!! ofcourse a little whipped cream just has to be added, I just close my eyes and dont think of the calories!!
I only have one a week pr even less as I pop in to the starbucks near work on my way in and only if i'm more than 15 mins early.
sooooooooo,
Starbucks cant sell me a carton as it's not for resale/retail , the friendly baristas let me see the carton to read (I had a flash of me running out the store shouting "it's mine...all mine")
to see if there was an address on it but it's made esp for starbucks coffee comp and it comes from US, the addy had a the amsterdam starbucks on it.

I have searched for a carton or tin of the creamy stuff and being an American traditional drink, I cant find it! The only two places that I found online was ebay and an american product online store.... but it was £6.25 a can!!! PLUS p&p!! nearly £10!! I cant bring myself to pay £10......

oooooooo!!! I could scream!! and to think it's origins are here in europe - sob!!

Right I'm gonna have to go to every forum I'm part off.... even the ones I just lurk in and see if anyone knows where to get some.

Oh and I know I could make it but I want a carton so I can have it there when I want and keep and well.... laziness i guess!!

What a day yesturday!!
Hubby went to work for 6am (tues) and didnt get back to collect me till 4.30am (wed)!!!
He had to stay to finish refit at work, then the alarm wasn't working or something and he had to stay for engineer, well I say had to but I guess he had a choice about it all so I was narked to say the least....... I'm sure he could have called the person on call to come and wait for the engineer but hey.... new day and all that.

Work was hectic yesturday, peeps coming in to make their Christmas orders, I was manning the desk It was quite funny at times.
A guy was putting his order through and I was telling him a few items are now unavailable..... May I just add her that he was FINE!!!!! LOLOLOL....anyway...... We were going through it and another customer came over and looked thru the book. She was giving off some funny atitude but I just ignored her and carried on.
I told Mr Fine that another item was available but that this wasn't and the Customer waiting said "SO can I make an order then?" I looked at her, Mr fine looked at me and then at her.
I told her "You can make an order but I'm just doing this order now"
"Oh!" she said.
Mr Fine said "Oh.... how odd. What does she think we're doing? standing here doing nothing.... " and some other stuff that I cant remember cos I was laughing too much. I really tried to be a unbiased but it was too funny......
To be fair to the Lady, when Mr Fine had gone, SHe told me that she thought he worked there as she had seen him before there, she said "He's such a handsome man that I remembered, I thought he was your boss as he was standing behind the desk with you."
LOLOL, see he was FFFIiiinnnneee!! LOLOL I said could you imagine if he was my boss? and we had a laff, I told her that she must have thought we were so rude if she thought we were working and chatting and ignoring her, She was quite a nice lady actually.

Off to work later, wonder if I'll be at the desk again.

Prompt 19: Sun 3rd Dec
"Deck the Halls ...."
It's starting to look Christmassy out there ... how do you decorate for Christmas? Do you have a huge tree with colour-coordinated decorations? minimal decorations? Neon Santas & snowmen all over the house? Does your tree have a star on it? or an angel? or something else? Do you include a nativity scene in your home?

Lord, thank you for the festive decorations we see around us. Thank you for the opportunity to decorate our houses, workplaces, schools & towns for this season & for the freedom to celebrate Christmas in the UK. We pray for those who do not have the freedom to celebrate due to the laws of the country they are resident in. Amen

The last couple of years, I've had a bowl of baubles ontop of the tv as our decs, Last year I recieved a really pretty glittery tree in a pressie swap, small and cute which I put on the tv too, infact it's still there as I love it soooo much I also got a cute little drum which Jayz adopted as his own!! Prompt 18: Sat 2nd Dec

Prompt 18: Sat 2nd Dec
Is 9 v6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

This is one of the most widely used of all readings at Christmas. Which of the titles used here means the most to you? Is there one you can relate to more than any other?

This Christmas time, we look for fresh understanding in the old familiar words that we will hear many times in the coming weeks. Wonderful Counsellor, we give you thanks for your constant love for us, and your work in our loves. Mighty God, we ask your blessing on this troubled world during this season of love. Everlasting Father, hold us close and help us to hear your voice. Prince of Peace, grant us peace at this time of stress and busy-ness. Amen

I really cant choose one tittle above the others. They all mean sooo much to me and God has been and is all of these and more.

When I am feeling low and at my worse or even when I need to talk things through, He is my Wonderful Counsellor.

When I am stressed and when things are all over the place or when i'm about to blow my top, He's my Prince of Peace

He has taken the place of a father who doesn't care about me or my children and will forever be My "Daddy" He looks after me and is my Everlasting Father, he'll forever be my Dad.

There's no situation he cant help me with, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. He has my back!! He's a Mighty God.

There are soooooooo many more titles that He is to me..... He's all that and a Bag of Honey Roasted Cashews!!!

Prompt 12

Prompt 12: Sun 26th Nov(As Christmas day is a Monday this year & thus week 4 of Advent only lasts one day, I will be starting this Sunday with the prompts that I would normally start Advent Sunday & running everything a week early to get them all in ... )Advent is the season of lights - twinkling white ones, flashing bright ones, flickering candles. Churches light Advent candles, towns are filled with lights.Lights symbolize the light of God coming into the world through the birth of His son. The light reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world that comes into the darkness of our lives to bring newness, life, and hope. It also reminds us that we are called to be a light to the world as we reflect the light of God's grace to others (Isa 42:6). As we approch Christmas, more & more lights appear symbolizing that the darkness is receding, that something is happening, and that more is yet to come. For those using Advent wreaths, the light that has come into the world is plainly visible as the Christ candle is lit at ChristmasHow is light important in your Christmas celebrations? Do you have dozens of fairy lights on your tree? an advent candle? Do you like to see the Christmas lights in town? Do you take a trip to see them?Perhaps you would like to take time out today to light a candle, and to focus on Jesus, Light of the worldLord of light, shine in our hearts in this Advent season and help us to shine in the world, bringing light to the darkness around us. Amen

As a child, we had loads of fairy lights on our tree.... I used to love to see them blinking and twinklin!!
It was my job to put the decorations up and I loved it!!..... didnt much like the taking down tho.

I dont have a tree now as the young'uns would pull it down but I may get some lights to put up. And maybe a tiny tree that Kali and I can decorate together.

I LOVE to see the lights in the diff places and stores. Cant believe some town centres want to keep them down....... but that's another story.

Prompt 11

Prompt 11: Sat 25th NovLuke 1: 76-79; Matthew 3: 1-12The great promises were about to be fulfilled & God needed somebody to take His message out to prepare people. John's role in preparing the people was very important. As we prepare for Christmas, what message are you giving to your family? to the world? Are you preparing the way & using this time to bring God's message to the world, or are you turning your back on it and focussing on the commercial side of Christmas?God, At this time of year, help us to keep our hearts focussed on the true story of Christmas in all we do this festive season, that we may do a small part in preparing the way for You to come again. Amen

Working in a store, it's hard not to see the commercial side of Christmas!! I am hoping that I stay focused on the reason for the season!!

Christmas is sooooo much fun but can become so wrapped up in pressies!!!

Prompt 9

Prompt 9: Thurs 23rd NovToday is Thanksgiving Day in the USA – so I thought it appropriate to use today to think what we are thankful for. Father God, We thank you for the joy you bring to our lives, for our loved ones, for time to enjoy the things we do, and for the world around us. Today, Thanksgiving Day, we thank You for the joy that knowing You brings, for your constant love and care for us, and for the gift of Your son into our world, which we remember each Christmas time. Amen

I'm thankful for sooooo much!! I often moan and grumble about things I dont have. I am ever so grateful for life, strentgh, my family..... a roof over my head..... food on my table..... work....

Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy xxx

Prompt 10

Prompt 10: Fri 24th NovLuke 1:57-75 Back to John the Baptist today ... God had great plans for him from the moment he was born. The fact that God's hand was with John from the moment of his birth suggested God would be guiding him - and that John would respond to God's guidance. In what way is God's hand on your life right now?Lord, I place myself into Your hands. So often I am too busy to take time to listen to Your voice or to feel Your touch on my life. Help me to be more aware of You and to respond to Your promptings. Help me to make time to actively seek your will for me at this time. Amen

The Lord is really helping me with my ministry. I want to continue growing in my singing and ministering.
I have started to lead Praise and Worship which is such a great thing for me. I am soooo nervous but also happy that God is using me. I want to be a blessing and I want my voice to get better and better!!

I am trying to let God lead me more and more.... I have to stop being stuborn and remove all fear and doubt.

I want to continue to excell in all I do.

As a youth leader, I deff feel God's hand.... I would never have thought I'd be in this possition and I even said I'd "Never" do it.... (famous last words LOLOLOL)

Prompt 8

Prompt 8: Weds 22nd NovemberToday, quite simply is a day to dream What would your ideal Christmas be … would it be spent alone (except for perhaps the cat!) in a log cabin with a cup of hot chocolate & a roaring fire? Would it be filled with noise & laughter & friends & parties?Go on ... let your imagination flow ...

I'd love to be with my hubby, kiddies and my mum and her hubby.... somewhere hot like the west indies/carribean.
We'd have a yummmie spread.... delish drinks and all on the beach!!!

Prompt 5

Prompt 5: Sun 19th NovDreamsLast week we took as our theme "Preparation", this week, we're going to use "anticipation" as a theme. Christmas is about the birth of a baby & God wants us to be excited! How did you feel about a birth in the family? What were you most excited about? What did you anticipate? How did you feel? How do you think Mary felt as she anticipated the birth of Jesus?Father God, The birth of a baby is a time for rejoicing, for excitement and for celebration. Fill our hearts with joy as we anticipate once again the arrival of Your son. Help us to remember that You came to this world in the most vulnerable way - not as a king but as a tiny, innocent baby. Amen

When I had my last baby I was soooo aprehensive and anxious as I knew it would be very painful. I wanted to make sure I was prepared and that I had all my stuff ready for myself and baby.

I can just imagine how Mary must have been feeling. She was far from home... traveling.... no room anywhere and the contractions comming quick and fast.
Ontop of all that, she knew that she was carrying the saviour !! WOW!!!

Prompt 4

Prompt 4: Sat 18th NovPreparationThis week, we've been looking at Advent & how it is a period of waiting, of preparation, of anticipation. When do you start preparing for Christmas? Is it something you think about all year or only start in December? When do the children start to get excited? What sort of things do you get excited about? Lord, In this time of preparation & excitement, help us to keep our eyes focussed on You, and help us to show as much enthusiasm for the true meaning of Christmas as we do for the commercial trappings. Amen

I think about Christmas from around August times as I like to budget for bitz and also to start to figure out where we'll spend Christmas day.

At work Christmas preperations start ever so early!!

I cant wait to start practicing Christmas carrols in Choir practice.

Kali is getting more and more excited as the time gets closer. Jayz and Kylo are still too young to really know too much.

I am gonna do some cards with Kali, he chose some paper and peeloffs for his cards at a store he went to with me. it will be fun.

I get excited about family time, watching my fam open their presents and mine too!!

prompt 3

Prompt 3: Fri 17th NovPreparation
Hymn: On Jordan's Bank
Still thinking of John the Baptist preparing the way for Christmas, how do YOU feel when the Christmas season starts? Does it fill you with dread (crowds, rush, cost ...) or with joy (family, presents, happiness) - is it a mixture of the two? (Focus today on the FEELINGS not the activities you do)
Father, as we approach Christmas, grant us peace from the busy-iness of the world, heal the sorrows in our hearts & grant us a renewed joy at the hope that comes each year as we remember the greatest gift of all. Amen

I feel a great Joy as we get closer to Christmas!!
I have always had a hectic Christmas - as a child we would visit families and friends and it was always a time of family.

Now that I have my own family, it's fantastic to see the way the kiddies love the season.
I am going to try to keep my mind on the reason for the season and not get too stressed. Working in a store, you do get bogged down with Christmas stresses, Orders...... turkeys...... made tills.... irate customers....... But I'll just be happy in the knowledge that myt kiddies will be getting some nice things from me with my wages!!

Advent!!!

The Lovely Woozle from UKS is posting some Advent prompts for us to use. Cant wait to get started!!

Prompt 1: Weds 15th NovemberPreparationThe word 'advent' is Latin for 'a coming or arrival'. Over the coming weeks, we will take time out of our busy lives to think what Christmas is really about and what the birth of a baby over 2000 years ago means to us today. Advent is a season of preparation, just like Lent, but it is a different kind of preparation. Lent is very adult and serious, because it leads to a death; In Advent, we thank God for Christ's first coming, prepare for his final coming at the end of time, and celebrate Christ's presence among us today. As Christmas is centered in the new hope brought by a baby, it's a very child-oriented holiday. Because Advent leads us up to that baby, so is Advent.Today, take some time to think how you are going to mark this Advent season and to prepare yourself, both in spirit and by gathering your supplies to start your Advent journey.Father, in the wilderness of the Jordan you sent a messenger to prepare people's hearts for the coming of your Son. As we approach this season again, prepare our hearts and minds to receive your message anew, that we may come to a deeper understanding of this season and of You. Amen.

This prompt is an excellent begining to what I know is gonna be a fantastic time of thought, reflection and a closer understanding to Advent.

Fireworks!!

Ok so it's the firework season!! I really am not a huge fan of them!! I was really scared as a child, I like the colours and it's noce to watch them from behind glass but the noise and being to close is not for me.

Jayz abs loves the whizz, bang, colour as does kylo!!

..................................................................................

Church was fantastic!! We had a "fireworks" evening and the Holy Spirit really showed up with great fire.
The Choir led praise and worship and we also ministerd two songs. It's been quite a while since we have sung as a choir at church and it was great!!

I really am trying much harder with my singing and am pushing myself more and more.

WOOOWWWWW!!!

On Thursday, I was "Introduced" to the most dynamic, awesome choir I've seen for a long time!!

Tye Tribbett and GA!!

They are abs fantastic!! They have enlightened a fire in me and I just want to continue my singing even more!! I want to stop holding back and give it my all!!

My cuz and I are desperately longing for the DVD to come into the store!! It's sold out everywhere so she ordered it for us. It should be here on Friday and I cant wait.

I was privaliged to have been loaned a copy for a couple of days and I had the dvd on all night.

I miss it and cant wait till i get mine.

What a weekend!!

I've had such a fantastic weekend!! Very hectic but great.
It started from thursday all the way thru to Sunday evening.

Thurs after choir practice, I had a real bondin experience with two close friends and my cuz. I was still on a high the next two days.

Friday was my good friend Sophie's B'day meal and we had a brill time dancing in the winebar.

Saturday was the day of a concert that my church mum put on, I was a co-ordinator with my cuz and we worked hard but had fun too. I had great enjoyment playing around... erm make that testing out LOLOL the walkie talkies. Before we got started.
The concert was fantastic and the artists were awesome. God was deff in the house and a young lady gave her heart to Him!!

Sunday was fantastic. It was youth service in the evening, I had a programme to run with but I just couldnt go through with it!! The Holy Spirit had other ideas and I just had to praise Him. The whole church was praising and our visiting Bishop prayed and ministered to the congregration and the young people too.
The theme was Comming back to your first love and without even a scripture read or a topic given God had us all exactly on track!!

My Little baba's THREE!!!

WOWWW!! cant believe it really. I am so behind that I missed posting the news!! He still is my baby and now he's three. He had a great day out last week. We went to a fun park and he enjoyed the rides and the stalls. His big bro loved it too and he went on the dogems with daddy and also with a friend he made (it's amazing how kids make friends!!) Jayz was soooooo excited and he was running around. He went on the trampolines and loved it sooooo much I was so happy just looking at his happy face.
He loved the areoplane ride, not surprising really as he loves planes, he loved going up high and looking down at us smilling and waving everytime he came round to where we were standing.
He also loved the round about swings.
We played a few games on the stalls and won prizes for each child. A scooby doo toy for jayz, a street fighter gameboy advance game for kali and a big looney toons ball for kylo.
Kylo loved watching his brothers and was so excited. He wanted to go on the rides too!! LOL.

Being there made me even more determined to shift more weight, Kali wanted me to go on the rides with him but i was too afraid incase i couldn't fit or if people would laff at me on the rides. this time next year we'll go back and I'll go on the rides with him!!

It was a fantastic day and I think I'll take them back before Kali goes back to school as they enjoyed it so much. I have taken some time off at work so I can spend some time with my "coco puff" before school starts back.

EXPOMANIA!!!

Went to an expo today and spent obcene amount of money, in a small amount of time and considering it wasn't that big a show... am thorougly ashamed with myself... pleased with me bitz tho LOL!!

Met Sarah in person, she's such a sweetie, her family are so great!! made an atc on her stand and had a good natter, and got some yummy paper, atc kit and doodlebug kits too!!

cleared some bitz from the lovely Orlando he had some fab alpha stamps at half price so i got two packs.... well it would be rude not too haaaaaa!! got a few other stuff and also some brads i wanted!!

Visited a stall where the holders came all the way from US, great stuff and will be visiting their site.

I also came across a fab company i met at ally pally, I am designing some cards for them and i lost their details so am well pleased they were there. Picked up some cute girly stamps.

I got a few more bitz from the various stalls and a pack of pay-per-box card. The lovely chap didn't take card so he offered to let me send a cheque to him, what a sweetie.

My feet are aching but my back pack is full!!

Stupid Bank!!

Why did I think this time would be any different. I've been sitting here wondering why the money hasn't gone in! Got a letter this morning saying i didn't send some signed something or another. And that i needed to call.
I called to find out they were talking about as I had signed the form, guy tells me it's some credit thingy, I ask him what page as they sent me back my agreement, he then put me on hold, came back and still didn't know. I told him nothing else was sent out... on hold again, he then comes back... "sorry it wasn't sent out before, nor was it sent out this time!!"

bahhhhh!! he printed another one off so it should be here probably monday!!

Forgot to say.....

..... In all the excitement of my missing bag and going back to work, i completely forgot to say I'm on a Design Team!!

or did I?? Who know's with me LOL.

I am well chuffed and Sarah is such a poppet!!

My first task was to design some cards for her for the Islington show!! The kit she sent was fabby!! It really challenged me as there were bits in there I haven't or wouldn't have thought of usually using. I'll be going to the show and how odd woll it be to see the cards up??!! I hope her customers like them, I want to make Sarah proud as she has only recently started out and she has some great stuff on her site.

I was sooooo scared and anxious that I wouldn't be up to scratch but I talked with some great forum pals over at scrapitude and they put me at ease.

You can check out her kewl stuff here

soon to be out of my overdraft!!!

soooo.... Finaly getting out of my overdraft, Had a review of my account after an embarrasing phone call where I bawled down the phone to a customer care manager after a rude so and so wound me up and then hung up on me!!

I felt like such a goon for crying on the phone, the poor bloke said he'd phone back later lololol. He called me back the next day and gave me some brill advice. He also told me i should try to get a consilidation(sp) loan, I told him i'd been turned down before but he said that was prob for a personal loan and that I should make sure they knew what type I wanted.

Lovely lady called me today(monday) and I was declined!! She said she'd call me back after she had a look at some figures. She came back with good news!! I could have it and also get some money to spend - I had been afraid that if they only lent me a small amount, I wouldn't be able to have access to the money that had just gone in.
She said the only way I'd have it waas if I agreed for my overdraft to be taken away, at first I didn't want that as I have used it as a crutch for so long, butr thinking about it I think it's for the best, this way i can make sure i dont get in this mess again.
I can always apply for one at a later date.

Paper work will come in next couple of days, sooooo.... pray it all goes through I feel much better already. I need to get ontop of my finaces.

Had good day at work although some customers really wound me up!!

Got to work early as I wanted to have a meal and rest but we were so short staffed, work mate begged me to start early!!

Well meant to be in bed already.... got alot on tomo.

My Bag...My Life!!

I cant believe how have my bag lost can affect me soooo much!!

I had all my bits in there and it's frustrating to have to cancel cards and all that stuff but all the private stuff, the stuff that you carry around all the time, gone.... riffled thru... makes me quite sad.

I had pics and videos on my phone of my lovely kiddies and dh and i just hate the thought of someone looking thru them.

I have called the phone insurance people and they've told me i need to get a loss number or something another from the police.

I called the bank about my chequebook and told them i had written a cheque on the thursday/friday and to cancell cheques after that date, the stupid so and so's decided to return a cheque and now the company have charged me £25!! I'm not happy and will be onto the bank tomorow!!

Right.... deff going to bed now!!

Kirk Franklin!!

Put new video on. Thought i'd put Kirk Franklin on. I love gospel music and He has a great style.

Went Choir practice earlier. Was quite good. I am really trying to excell with my singing. I have become much more confident since I started singing on Praise and Worship it seem s odd to think that I am a worship leader. I hope that I am doing a good job and that God will be pleased with what he hears.

I no longer shy away from the mic but do hold back at times, I'm working on that part heee heee.

must go to bed earlier today as I have kali's assembly tomorow morning. It's the jungle book so I'm told!!

Back To Work!!!

Cannot believe a whole year(+) has gone by so quickly!!

I went back to work on Monday and have to say it went much better than I had expected.

It is quite nice to be out of the house and getting some adult convo again!!

The store has changed sooo much and lots of staff, including the store manager and a few of the section managers have gone.

It feels alittle odd to be back and people keep asking me if i'm new!!

I am gonna treat myself to a bit of stash when my pay packet comes but not too much as I have loads of house bits to get.

It's funny how the till is just so easy to get back into, it's sad but I still remember lots of the codes of by heart hahahaha!!

Kali doesn't want me to go to work and wishes I could be home, jayz cries so much when I go "I come??" he asks and then wails when I say no, I ca hear him crying as I walk away - breaks my heart. Ky just watches me go sadly. When I get back he gets all excited and reaches out for me. He has a mega feed and falls asleep, bless him!!.

Sniiflles!!

Two baba's have both got the sniffles and I've been up all day and night with them!! Poor loves have runny noses and eyes and look so sorrowful.

Hoping they get better very quickly as I go back to work on Monday..... scary going back. In one way I can't wait to be going out of the house, mingling with adults and seeing a diff environment. In another way I'm gonna miss my lil baby soooo much, not only him tho the other two too. It will be nice to have my own wages again tho. The last 6 months have been really hard on us as we have been trying to get by on hubby's wage.
Praise God for providing for us, if it weren't for him, we'd be far worse I can tell ya!!

I have "Met" some Christians on UKS and am soooo happy. We are discussing faith/praise booking which I am sooo hyped about.

Anyway, I'm a little achy so will log off and go upstairs. Craft Day so will watch tv till I get tired.

Usher!!

Changed music Video!! Thought i'd have a change, heee heee

Thank God!!!

Not been able to write for such a looonnngg time. I need to write about how wonderful God is.

The other day Myself and the kiddies were caught in a complete downpour. I'm talking storm like rain.
The little two were in their buggy, which in itself is a blessing because if they were in the one I had borrowed before this one came, they would have been soaked as it didn't have a rain cover.
Kali and I were absolutely soaked, he had no jacket and i had only a cardi type thing. I gave him my pashmina to try and save him but we were drentched. It was as tho we had jumped into a swimming pool fully clothed. I was near to tears as I looked over at him all soaked and not complaining, so I decided to pray.
I asked God if he could please stop the rain untill we got home. I reminded him about mustard seed faith. and that old testament people would pray for rain and it rained or for none and there wasn't any.
I then started to sing in my head.
we continued to struggle thru the rain, we came to the high road and i continued to trust in God. We went to a shelter and my skirt could literaly be wringed with all the water.
The thunder started but i knew that God had heard me.
The rain started to let up and we continued home.

I promised God that if he did stop the rain, i'd proclaim his glory so here it is!!

It's Here!!!.......

... My lovely, lovely CROP-A-DILE!!

It arrived this morning, 7.22 am!! Only went to bed after 4am too, so was very bleary eyed when i got to the door to a sneezy postie.
I said a sleepy "bless you" thru the door. He laffed and thanked me and gave me two packages.
Was soooooo Happy when I saw it was a package from US!!
I put it up and went back for a few more hours kip.

Opened my package after the after school run and was grinning from ear to ear. I haven't tried it out yet.

I am soooooo excited to have got it. I spent my "treat" money on it so it had better be worth it LOL.

I am deff going to try it out on tin and I am so loving the idea of using it to bind books too!!

Can you tell I'm excited? Can ya??

Oooooo did I mention it's Pink??

Happy Church Anniversry!!

Today is the anniv of our church ministry!!

We had a fabby day, a wonderful service and then a meal in the church and then a brill evening service. So good am on a HG High!! LOL

We're all due to go to the park tomo for a bbq, should be great if rain stays away.

Thinking alot about my church life and God has really been working things out for me. I just want him to use me more and now I must make myself available to him

Singing on Praise and Worship has really opened up my vocals and has helped me to stop hiding behind others and away from the mic. Today I could really hear myself and instead of shying away I just sang out all the more. I want to increase my singing abilities and really want God to annoint me and I want to excell more.

Singing in the Choir has also helped alot and I love it. I pray that God will continue to use me to minster to others and to minister to me too!!

I have started again with the devotions for the choir whic I had dropped off for a while.

God Is Good!!!!

Peek-a-Blocks

Wonderful invention, who would have thought a plastic cube with things inside them could be soooo great? Fisher Price did thats for sure!! Went made on these when Jayz was a baby and now baba plays with them too. He absolutely loves them and the good thing is they're still fun to jayz too and they can play with them together.

I know what my going back to work pressie will be for them, now just have to choose which set I'll get..... bigger toy box is needed LOL!!

Oh and did I forget to mention I think they're pretty fab too?? ;o)

slidomania!!

Just adding a slidey thingy...... let's see if it works.

Missing You

My sweet big boy is waaaaayyyy accross the world in Florida having a grand old time. He's gone to DisneyWorld and is loving it. I am sooooo missing him it's untrue. His nan nan(paternal) has taken him and they called this morning(friday) he sounded so grown up and had lots to tell me even tho he only went on tuesday.

I had to make my voice perky so he didn't ask me if I was missing him. Baba is missing him too, he's all grizzly and whenever I mention Kali he looks around for him, bless his cotton socks.

Jayz is missing him too, keeps asking for him and saying "kalkal gone on aeyoplane" and then " I wanna go on aeyoplane too" so sweet.

Ah well he'll be home sooner than I kno it and will be full of tales to keep me entertained.

Golly!!....

What a day we've had!! Kali had to be collected from school early today as he's poorly. The other two decided today would be the day to be clingy and baba not settling all day, so no naps or sleeps for him.... which meant no downtime for me either!!

Hubby standing over my shoulder to come on pc, despite me asking him 5mins ago if he wanted to come on... to which he said no!! And he say's I'm indecisive LOL.
